Community Day
More than 300 visitors enjoyed the concession,
craft, yardsale and non-profit tables. The Children's area
offered parents the opportunity to obtain Ident-a-Kid id's while
the little ones were much more interested in the crafts, water
balloons and the Home Depot workshops. Boy Scout Troop 138
created an obstacle course through the nature trail, a welcome
relief from the sun. Thanks to the volunteers from Gloucester
High School Football team for parking and clean-up, Boys and
Girls Club for crafts, games and
playground assistance. Proceeds are being divided among the
attending non-profits: Gloucester Mathews Free Clinic, Boys and
Girls Club, Precious Purrs & Paws, Literacy Volunteers of
Gloucester, The Laurel Shelter, The Family Room, United
Daughters of the Confederacy, Bay Aging,
